Assorted lovely things

On Friday my best friend got married. And it was lovely.

These are my two favorite shots.

And this one blows my mind. Props to my talented sister Courtney for catching this amazing picture. It looks like the DVD cover to a Nicholas Sparks movie.

Also today I got my Michigan necklace back in the mail. I was clumsy and had to send it to Carey for repair. It came just in time to wear on THE most beautiful day in Michigan.

Excuse two things. 1. That the picture is backwards. I am just learning. 2. The kissy-face. I generally hate when girls do that but I was just so excited about the necklace. Get one. You will not be disappointed.

UPDATE! We will be moving in on July 20th. The anticipation is killing me.

Inspiration for our art studio.

The second floor of the space has a large open room in the middle which will be transformed into our studio. This is the part of the move I am most excited about.

I am obsessed with the “hand-made-love” installation in this picture. I will definitely be making that.

I love the the clean, classy look of this room. Plus we have a similar radiator in the space.

Eventually this will be a blog about my new adventures of moving to Midtown Detroit, revamping a historic townhouse and becoming a neighbor. We don’t move in for a couple days but I need to practice. So, here’s what I am up to until then.
